This project explores the power of photography as data visualization. Inspired by Nicholas Felton's book Photoviz, it visualizes global warming through satellite imagery of the Columbia Glacier, Alaska, to raise awareness about the importance of reducing our carbon footprint.
Through an experience designed for Instagram stories, it takes advantage of the staggered storytelling of the format to show the glacier's retreat in recent decades.
